Welcome to the info page for Amateur (Ham) Radio Station WU7F
I assume if you searched for this page, you are a fellow radio operator. Hopefully we have had a QSO. If not, you are likely to find me on 40m CW in the evenings.
I am proud to be a member of the following CW organizations:
CW Ops # 1351
NAQCC # 257
SKCC # 1766
Current station is modest:
Elecraft KX3 with a KXPA100 Amp that I will turn up to 70W if conditions require that much power
Heathkit SB-1000 Amp – seldom used (I’ve probably used it fewer than 20 times in the six years I’ve owned it)
The keys I normally use:
N3ZN single-lever paddle
GHD M501 straight key
Begali Adventure Mono single-lever paddle (mostly used when portable)
Antennas:
Antenna at home QTH doublet fed with ladder-line and balun @ 15’
For portable operation, I use either an End-fed ant or doublet.
